Note From Ellen
About a month ago i watched a TV interview with the hostages who were rescued from a Colombian prison. They had endured all kinds of terrible experiences and wondered if they would ever make it back to the United States. During a bad time one man looked up and saw a rainbow and immediately knew within himself that this was a good sign. He knew that he would be getting out and coming back to the US at some point in time. And it worked out just that way.
I related to that experience about two days ago as I was thinking about my prosperity and the "unexpected income" program that we have initiated at the church. I was walking and looked down and there on the ground in plain sight was a dollar bill. I thought to myself that this was a very good sign for prosperity but I would really believe that this was truly a sign if I found another dollar and sure enough about 15 minutes later there was another dollar. I was so surprised!!! I have both of them in my Vision book now as a "sign" for me that prosperity (financial, good health, loving relationships) will be and are in my life.
The Native Americans always used to believe in signs. In 1985 I was at the Grand Canyon with a Hopi elder who insisted our spiritual group meditate/pray at the Canyon. We could not move until a certain bird appeared. And sure enough after about 2 hours the bird appeared and we moved on.
It is my belief that when we daily contact the presence of God in prayer and listen to guidance that we will be guided to our right and perfect place. I have 2 favorite phrases "God is my source" and "With God all things are possible". And I think serendipity and signposts will be all around us to show us the way just as the wise men were led to the birthplace of Jesus by a star. We are never alone.

PROGRESS ON NEW BUILDING
Work is being done on the floors with the installation of carpet and tile. The cabinets have been installed also. And the plumbing and electricity is completed. Work is progressing rapidly!!! And the building is looking good!!!! We should be using the building in September...
The Bookstore looks great!!! We have lots of new books and gift items. Please stop by and let Lou, Carla, Pamela or Darlene know if there is anything they can order for you.

Wanted: Host and Hostesses for the Fall Program who live in the city of Denton. We are so thankful to have several homes in the Aubrey and Crossroads area but we need more homes in the city of Denton.
Who: Anyone who would like to host a small group in their home one day or night per week during the Fall Program and study The Four Agreements.
What: Would you also like to facilitate the class or would you like a facilitator to join your group?
When: We would love to know ASAP if you wish to participate. Sign up sheets will be displayed on August 17th.

The Wednesday night visioning class has decided to begin planning for the second half of 2008. The class is currently working on putting their goals in writing to correlate with the images in their books.
Visioning is all about dreaming, fantasizing, clarifying and energizing your life. You decide what it is you want in your life and then begin to envision those things. By collecting and organizing images of items or important words you can surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires. Between Ellen's commitment to the system of Visioning and Lane's commitment to goal setting there are many lessons to be learned in any one night of Visioning class.
This class is supported by love offerings.
A Vision Book is really an inventory of your desires - come stock your shelves.
